A 1918 graduate of the CPR's Angus Shops in Montreal, 2-10-0 No. 5771 was captured on film by A. B. Crompton at an unknown location probably not long before it was retired and scrapped in 1958. Members of class R3c had low 58-inch drivers, 24x32-inch cylinders, and a boiler pressure of 200 p.s.i. Weighing in at 236,000 pounds, these Decapods exerted around 54,000 pounds of tractive force. They had 2621 square feet of evaporative heating surface, 628 square feet of superheating surface, and 59 square feet of grate area. The image came from Tac Foley.
